I’m always kidding everyone
how I still can’t believe
every day something even more
breathtaking than yesterday
appalling and miraculous
and haven’t figured out so far
if this is all reality’s way
of punking us or if
the earth’s to blame
for wobbling so but
today I found a stone
pale apple green what
a strange brave cheerful
being stared right back
at me from it.
