let’s start from there
but with that confession
and that conviction
we all have hatefulness
in our hearts and like
all diseases given the right
conditions of rage and
self-revenge can break
out of control in us
but it’s just the fear of difference
every individual like every country
estranged from every other country
and to believe it all began
with one woman and one man
and one sleepless night and next day
