that betrays genius or a spirit
of wryness or forgiveness
that momentarily encompasses
all prior considerations affections
conclusions it is what follows
confusion and indecision
often what appear the stupidest things
in the eyes of wise and powerful kings
against which love has always fought
love the only fighter for freedom
