and yet that seems the perfect place to be
and to come agonizingly to the awareness
that all this is of our own doing
and that we must stop our damn blaming
and thinking enviously of others
comparing and contrasting
and yet it’s like a process of elimination
and each is left alone disagreeing
with the majority who are gone
about how to continue on
a new path of understanding
to leave it to the world
to take care of us while
we take care of the world
