Some spirit doesn’t need to
But there is never matter without
Spirit it is never left alone
Unaccompanied unconjoined
How can this be made much clearer
And yet this is what is refused everywhere
In its practical implications
Obfuscated by religions
Or made to seem remote unthinkable
What would happen if we were
To see it is the only real thing
And ourselves as essentially
Spiritual beings working in the world
Bringing matter back to the gods
