I killed a man
in San Fran
almost
my blue
and windy mind

we died and went
to China it’s still Chinatown
but much wiser
than I thought
you said it would be

on the map you would
have to paint this city in red
a mouth with braces
blue-eyed and wearing a war-bonnet
of tiny redwoods.
