Enough Valentine

A life lived between
two deaths spent walking
but if you have to visualize it
it’s a lot less
contemplative than that

that would be enough
if not the permanent as such
who or what experiences
the permanency anyway
that would be enough

that the light come
with you through the door
whether you are leaving
or just getting here
that would be enough.
