Rant Valentine

So Lincoln and Gandhi were gay
and Martin and everyone ran around
and Mary Magdalene was Jesus’s
baby momma whatever they use
to try to bring them down with us
to their level as if their ‘sins’
could lower their value for us
as if it was the human part
that mattered or what we drag up
from the past and not the implosion
of passion the actual behavior
of love they could only have
brought us from somewhere
outside this stupefied world.
