every other biography
for which its fame
is constantly expanding
slowly shrinking the text
down to the final gratitude
of five words hating irony
is hating love which
really we all do secretly
most of the time it’s about
how I’m feeling and whether
or not I’ll go with that or
do something else altogether
however vain the effort.
