Scalp’s Valentine

My hair grows long and weary
the grass grows longer and wearier
we must lie down together
under the same blade
our excess be shorn
cropped to the scalp
that a new green be born
out of the old white morn
I mean a man in winter
who has outlived the storm
and stands there like a stick
or rifle propped in a corner
we’ve been round this bend
before and may yet see the end
of love and peace and war

Erin, you can do that anytime you want. I understand your appreciation and am truly grateful for its encouragement.
And I continue to be amazed and delighted by your photos - gentle ratios indeed!

You can certainly see your enthusiasm within the article you write.
The arena hopes for even more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to mention how they believe.

Always go after your heart.

May I simply say what a comfort to discover a person that genuinely
understands what they're discussing on the web.
You definitely know how to bring a problem to light and make it important.

A lot more people should look at this and understand this side of the
story. I can't believe you are not more popular because
you surely possess the gift.
