grass green one remembers
in fall that crocus green or
golden green of some sunsets
that sunlight green as known
among connoisseurs of color
while all the while the valor
of true orange waits within
readying its gamboge grin
its cadmium yellow gaze
with maybe a little brown
madder alizarin thrown in
