Another religion
Is dying
Does that cheer you
Or bring you fear
The end is drawing near
The bodhisattva says
He won’t reincarnate again
Though the government orders it
Having first destroyed
All the monasteries and temples
Swept away the old gods
Except for the few we rescued
Smuggled over safely
From a prior destruction
