I knocked cautiously
On an archangel's door
With my questions in my hand
Getting on with my life
But still standing there
If he was not at home
He would be coming later
If he was not to be disturbed
I would water the plants
Or go for a walk with a friend
All my questions could wait
Though they burned my hands off
I knew they wouldn't matter much
When I felt his touch
