It was his son
Who woke his heart
Who broke his heart
By leaving him
The father thought
His son too friendly
With the wrong sort
Who would only drag him down
To the world that drug
But he was still completely
Willing to lose him
And to be lost to him completely
He always trusted him implicitly
And believed he would return
