I will not rise again
When I am dead
Unless someone rises in me
While I am here on earth
The soul is a fledgling bird
Whose wings weren't meant
To merely flap about
Rearranging the nest
But must learn to lift
Off into the air from tree
To tree if it's ever
To make the great migration
Through many resurrections
Sun and star light in its veins
