The universe escapes me
I escape into the universe
It's such a beautiful day
And I am taking you with me
Do we have something better to do
Than feel how the darkness
Obliterates us how the stars
Call out to us clearly
Preparing us for something
Returning us to the earth
Each morning safely
Now we know we are immortal
And have only to work out
The mortal part
