with good (the imponderable)
are inherent (embodied)
in matter and in us
(i.e., the spirit of good
and the spirit of evil
have both incarnated
as matter) this is obvious
that’s what gives it its earnest
piquancy and heartfelt
urgency that good and
evil co-exist in the same
flesh and blood in which
we also eventually appear
at their leisure at their pleasure

The mention of "heartfelt urgency" reminds me of a quotation by Alexander Solzhenitsyn: "The line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being" (_The Gulag Archipelago_).
