Lukewarm Valentine

Cooler nights and lukewarm days
Where does that breeze come from
An alteration of Middle English 'lew'
("tepid") hot equal to cold
Decidedly undecided days
Followed by nights that make up
Their minds melting into mornings
That feel like a kind of yearning again
This could go on forever
As far as I'm concerned
This having it both ways
I mean the sun sits down
Right beside a raining cloud
And the stars are frozen in place
What more could I want
