Is humanity more than a story
A foreign object in the world
Fallen to the earth like Gilgamesh's
Friend to love and go
Back to where we came from
What must we be working on
To have come so far from home
Our migrant lives rejected
And rejecting wherever we go
Why would the people who built
The pyramids lie about the reality
Of the spiritual world
That never dies
I'd like to know
