Patmos Valentine

I went to the beach
No one was there
It was like a body
Curled into a cove
Soft shoulders sleeping
Gently breathing body
I lay down beside you
Afraid to wake you
After what great wrecks
Do you rest after what
Great civilizations
Do you restore some peace
And quiet little beach
Cast aside by wars
