Even though our bodies
Are the oldest part of us
They're still relatively young
In the overall scheme of things
But the more we materialize ourselves
The more we fade away
A trick of the spirit to reclaim us
Still our bodies give us an intimate look
At its most inner workings
So we can see how it's done
How to stir some dirt and spit together
In the palm of your hand
And breath into it all of your life
Practicing with body after body
To make and re-make a soul
