Held Valentine

Slowly the sun grew in her belly
I could not love you more except
For the force of your love for me
It was like a little flame at first
She feared would die in the dark
I hold you close she thought
But it's only you holding me
When her nephew was born
She saw how it would tear her apart
The unrelenting light in her heart
But slowly she built the body of the sun
Out of her blood and bones
Some days she climbed the hills
And slept among the stones
