Made up as we are
Out of many lives
Interwoven enfolded
Yet we can live only one
Life at a time moving
From place to place
This makes everything specific
And a little distracting
In our search for the overlapping
Sounds of waves of praise
Rising up from the lake
When summer begins
And another better life
Offers itself again
