Wasn't Copperfield correct
Whether we will live on our ideals
The only route to survival
Or flounder in appearances
Let's get serious and sublime
For once it's like those men
And women who built the pyramids
Laborious stone on stone
We're still speculating how
The seriousness of suffering
Erects monuments to the sublime
What the mind is capable of
The body performs
The landscape replaces its castle
