We think it's a virus spreading
But it's really underneath
A growing epidemic of anger
Consuming whole countries
Justifiable and unjustified rage
Both equally ineffective unprofitable
And what a tough taskmaster
A cruel slave holder anger can be
How we suffer under its lash
Which can come at any time
What does it want so much
It undermines its own purpose
I am so angry with anger
I have finally given it up
Which does wonders for the breathing
